Creating categories in the ASA app helps you organize your data efficiently. In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create and manage a regular category in just a few steps.
✅ Step 1: Open the ASA App
• Launch the ASA app on your Android phone.
✅ Step 2: Understand the Menu
• At the bottom, you’ll see:
– 🏠 Home
– 📂 Categories
– ➕ Add Category
✅ Step 3: Create a New Category
• Tap the ➕ Add Category icon.
• In ASA, there are two category types:
– 🟢 Regular
– 🔒 PIN-Protected
• Here, we’ll create a regular category.
✅ Step 4: Name and Add Your Category
• Enter a category name (example: Passwords)
• Tap Add
✅ Step 5: View Your Category
• Tap the 📂 Categories icon
• You’ll see your newly added category listed
✅ Step 6: Edit or Delete a Category
• Tap the ✏️ Edit icon to rename
• Tap the 🗑️ Delete icon to remove the category
✅ Step 7: View Category Entries
• Tap the category to open it
• All saved entries (snaps) will be listed there
✅ Step 8: Add a New Entry (Snap)
• Tap Add New Snap
• Enter:
– A Key (e.g., Yahoo)
– A Value (e.g., your password)
• Tap Save
✅ Step 9: Add or Edit Rows
• To add another row, tap Add Row
• Enter more key-value pairs
• Tap Save again
✅ All Done!
